Town of Machias is seeking Full-Time Police Officer
The Town of Machias is currently accepting applications for a full-time Police Officer (40 hours per week). Applicants for the position must have completed the Law Enforcement Pre-Service Course offered by the MCJA and possess a clean Maine driver’s license. In addition, applicants will be required to pass a background check, criminal history check, polygraph, and psychological testing. Full-time applicants must have previously completed the 18-week Maine Criminal Justice Course or be capable of completing the training program within 12 months from the date of hire. This position offers a competitive salary and benefit package.
