Fire Hydrant Testing & flushing

The Machias Water Company in conjunction with the Machias Fire Department are conducting fire hydrant testing & flushing on April 9th – 13th between the hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.  You may experience brown or rusty colored water temporarily in the entire system.
