The purpose of this hearing is to amend the Municipal General Assistance Ordinance by repealing and replacing appendices A-G of the existing ordinance.  The public will be given an opportunity to be heard prior to the consideration of the appendices by the municipal officers.  A copy of the appendices is available at the Machias Town Office.
