The Municipal Officers of the Town of Machias will hold a public hearing at the Machias Tele-Business Center.  The purpose of this hearing is to amend the Municipal General Assistance Ordinance by repealing and replacing appendices A through H of the existing ordinance.  The public will be given an opportunity to be heard prior to the consideration of the appendices by the municipal officers.  A copy of the Appendices is available at the Machias Town Office.
