Town of Machias – Public Hearing Notice
The Town of Machias will hold a Public Hearing on March 21, 2018 at 6 p.m. to discuss enacting a moratorium on recreational marijuana for 60 days to allow the Board of Selectmen to draft local regulations for licensing standards.

Fire Hydrant Testing & flushing
The Machias Water Company in conjunction with the Machias Fire Department are conducting fire hydrant testing & flushing on April 9th - 13th between the hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. You may experience brown or rusty colored water temporarily in the entire system.
